Preoperative Instructions

1. No eating or drinking (including water) for eight (8) hours prior to surgery appointment, EXCEPT for taking your prescriptions with a sip of water. *Please Note that if you DO have anything to eat or drink within eight hours before your appointment you will be subject to a $450.00 facility fee. 
2. Make arrangements to have someone with you to drive you home following surgery. DRIVER MUST STAY.
3. Wear a loose-fitting short-sleeved shirt and comfortable closed-toe shoes. 
4. No contact lenses. 
5. Start prescriptions as prescribed. 
6. No smoking on the day of surgery.
7. Have gauze & tea bags available at home after surgery. 
8. Please do not use cosmetics, perfume, cologne, or body lotions on surgery day. 
9. For your safety and the safe administration of anesthesia, it is imperative that you stop the use of Marijuana or elicit drugs for a minimum of 48 hours prior to surgery. If this applies to you, please discuss with Dr. Jun.

YOU MUST GIVE 48-HOUR NOTICE TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE TO AVOID A BROKEN APPOINTMENT CHARGE OF $50.00
